WHAT WE LOVE
Thu and Minh's wedding ceremony took place on a clear spring day - a day when people just want to do something to inhale all the gentle sunshine, clear sky and stir the heart full of happiness. Starting from that great inspiration, we rekindled the idea of a sweet wedding ceremony on the riverside. Under the spring sky, on the spring land, the love of Thu and Minh that day turned out to be the most dazzling flower.
DECORATION
With more than 7 years of love, Thu and Minh have had a long journey going here and there, been through many ups and downs. Therefore, on that day, standing in their hometown, Meraki wanted to collect all of the tenderness into their wedding day. From the bouquet, wedding arch to floral decorations were all in a supple pastel shade but still very spring: orchid, rose, daisy, baby’s breath and a variety of yellow, orange, pink to blue and mauve shades.
To create a matching setting with an elegant and exquisite look of the wedding, both transparent chairs and wedding arch were utilized. It was noticeable that under the sunlight, this setting reflected a portion of colorful shades from floral decoration and produced a fanciful ombre effect, making the couple and guest feel as if they were entering a flower paradise.
The wedding arch concept had piqued our curiosity. The rectangular transparent design combined with flowers resembled a miniature rainbow, and from a distance it appears to be a photo frame documenting the most sacred moment of Minh and Thu.
GETTING READY
CEREMONY
Meraki had seen many couples go side by side to the ceremony stage but the moment two of them headed towards the flower arch - not just only walking but dancing, still made the heart us and the guests of that day couldn’t help but stir. The solemnity and sacredness of the wedding ceremony might cause people to strain unknowingly, but in the eyes, smile and graceful dance of Minh and Thu, it was completely peaceful and leisurely. The two appeared to be returning to "home", a forever safe haven only for the two of them.
"Wine Box" is another memorable aspect of Minh and Thu's special day. The bride and groom picked a bottle of their favorite wine and placed it in a box with two little pieces of paper expressing their wishes. Later, after 5 or 10 years, the two would unpack, sip some wine, and reminisce about their previous voyage. Meraki believes that love is like wine - the more it ages, the better it tastes. We believe that patience and care for each other through the years will make you two even more passionate than the first day.
RECEPTION
The reception took place in a cozy but yet dreamy setting with shimmering fairy lights and wonderful music from a live band. The most memorable aspect, though, was our newlyweds' dancing performance. Behind that melting slow dance were several days of intensely practicing the Minh and Thu dance. While Meraki had the opportunity to assist numerous weddings in becoming immaculate, the romantic environment that day could not have been reached without Minh and Thu's dedication and excitement. The newlyweds and guests had set the tone for the rest of the wonderful day with their dancing and non stop laughter.
