Testimonial
When asked by loved ones, colleagues, or strangers what we couldn't do without after everything ended, we never hesitated to say our Meraki Wedding Planner team.

We love our Meraki team: Han, Van, Ngoc, Yen, and Nguyen. Han, the team lead, came to know us as if we knew each other from childhood. When asked by loved ones, colleagues, or strangers what we couldn't do without after everything ended, we never hesitated to say our Meraki Wedding Planner team 💖 We booked the partial planning service and can shout to the world that Meraki's process is exceptional. I easily identify myself as "Type A" and was incredibly impressed and rest assured by our team's spreadsheets,...

What we loved

From the very beginning, Christina and Xavier knew exactly what mattered most to them. Both strong-minded and thoughtful in their own ways, they approached the planning journey with clarity, openness, and a genuine trust that made the creative process feel both focused and collaborative.

What stayed with us most, however, was the way Christina seemed to soften whenever Xavier was near. Perhaps that is why she calls him “home” and why creating a wedding that felt warm, intimate, and welcoming meant so much to them both.

Christina & Xavier came to us with a clear brief: to create a wedding inspired by the words, You are my home. Together, we shaped that sentiment into a house-frame ceremony arch, standing quietly at the center of the space. As they exchanged vows beneath it, it felt as though they were standing at the doorway of a new chapter, surrounded by the very people who had championed their love all along.

A Local Touch

“Home” in this celebration was not only about a feeling between two people, but also a quiet reflection of where Christina comes from - her motherland. It was her way of bringing a part of home into the space, letting it be seen, tasted, and gently felt throughout the experience.

We let that feeling breathe through details that felt close, almost familiar. From the ice cream experience, where one flavor carried a playful hint of Vietnamese phở, to a dessert and bánh corner that echoed the warmth of local street treats. The drinks, too, held that sense of home: pandan appeared as a scent that lingered softly in the air, woven into handmade keepsakes prepared for each guest. A gentle Christina’s way of saying: this is where I come from, this is my “home”.

The Celebration

As Christina made her bridal entrance, Xavier quietly swept away fallen petals, making space for her in his own gentle rhythm. It was subtle, playful, and unmistakably them.

For the unity ceremony, we looked for something that felt personal to their story. As devoted ice cream lovers, they saw the journey ahead much like its many flavors, some sweet and familiar, others a little unexpected. We shaped that into a simple ritual: each choosing one flavor they loved, and one they didn’t. A lighthearted gesture that quietly carried a deeper promise, to embrace both joy and difference, side by side.
