For An & Joel, art became the language through which they told their story. Two individuals from different worlds, brought together through contrast, curiosity, and harmony.

From the very beginning, An believed the wedding invitation would become the first emotional touchpoint for every guest. He entrusted us with a challenge unlike any other: to create a three-dimensional invitation box that embodied the imagined Garden of Eden they had dreamed of together. Every symbolic detail was carefully illustrated by hand, from the Tree of Life and wildflowers to the serpent, forbidden fruit, and two contrasting figures standing side by side. The result felt less like a wedding invitation and more like a collectible work of art.

While the interior unfolded like a poetic interpretation of the origin of life through a Western artistic lens, the exterior carried subtle Indochine influences inspired by the antique architectural columns of Hoi An. It was only when we finally held the completed invitation in our hands that the emotion truly settled in. After more than four months of relentless dedication, every sketch, revision, and late night had finally bloomed into something tangible and unforgettable.

The concept of the “Garden of Eden” was first shared by An during our earliest conversations. To him, it represented a place where creativity could exist freely across different timelines and dimensions, inhabited by untamed creatures and layered narratives waiting to be discovered.

The ceremony unfolded within a dreamlike setting, where vibrant blooms emerged through a veil of mist scented with musk, blending seamlessly with the untamed beauty of the mountains and forest. The atmosphere recalled a painting by Monet, gentle, ethereal, and yet striking.

The vows ceremony was held at the highest point of the venue, making full use of the natural landscape so that An, Joel, and their guests could take in the rustic beauty of Da Lat. In the distance, clouds drifted slowly across layers of mountains, while a wild garden flourished around them, framing the moment they exchanged their vows. The sounds of violin and cello intertwined with the natural melodies of the forest, turning every emotion into music.

As night fell, the garden transformed into something more mysterious and enchanting. A vast venue where earth and sky seemed to meet was chosen to represent the darker side of the Garden of Eden. Padma devoted immense care to creating a fine dining setting inspired by this vision, with overflowing wildflowers, fish gliding across water, and preserved butterflies and insects swaying gently beneath surreal lighting. Accompanied by the sound of Bach’s compositions carried through the hillside winds, the evening built toward a dramatic crescendo, awakening curiosity about what would happen next.

An & Joel offered their guests more than a visual and musical experience. They also created a highly imaginative culinary journey. The seven-course fine dining menu, inspired by the evolution of life itself, was carefully researched and developed by Chefs Dalat. Each dish became a chapter told through flavor, where local ingredients were thoughtfully combined to create an experience that delighted both the palate and the eye.

Their love did not rely on grand declarations. It revealed itself through simple gestures, such as when An softly translated his mother's speech into English for Joel, or when they sat hand in hand, quietly listening to blessings from family and friends. Every embrace, radiant smile, and emotional tear touched the hearts of those present.

Perhaps what moved everyone most was the quiet yet powerful love shared by An & Joel. A relationship nurtured through the years, sustained through thoughtful acts of care, and now witnessed and celebrated by the people they love most.

For us, the greatest joy was witnessing a love like theirs: free-spirited, sincere, and deeply inspiring.
