Testimonial
Over time, our trust in the team only deepened because it was clear how much they genuinely cared

Planning a destination wedding halfway across the globe would have felt impossible without Meraki Wedding Planner. The Meraki team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly well organized, guiding us through what could have been a daunting process. Even though we worked exclusively online, collaborating with Meraki felt easy and natural, as if we had known each other for years. They listened carefully to our vision, eased our concerns, talked us off the ledge when we panicked over the smallest details, and...

What we loved

Before becoming a Meraki couple, Thảo and Việt Anh had once stood beside close friends as bridesmaids and groomsmen at a wedding we planned. So when they returned months later to create their own celebration, there was already a sense of familiarity between us. Over eight months of planning, there was space to listen, to trust, and to slowly shape a wedding that felt true to who they are.

When the day finally arrived, what stayed with us was not a single grand moment, but the emotions that unfolded naturally throughout it. Watching Việt Anh become unexpectedly emotional through the entrance, the speeches, and the many small moments in between felt especially meaningful. For someone who never imagined himself as sentimental, he allowed himself to fully feel the day, and witnessing that was quietly fulfilling for all of us.

The materials

Thảo had always imagined her wedding in soft shades of blue and white, a palette that felt timeless and naturally connected to the sea. As the concept evolved, we suggested introducing vibrant yellow as a contrasting accent, bringing warmth, personality, and an unexpected sense of energy into the space. Yellow daisies bloomed throughout the celebration, from the ceremony to the reception, standing out against the blue of the ocean and sky. Together, they created one of the most distinctive and inspiring colour palettes of that wedding season.

Thảo and Việt Anh gave us one clear brief: they wanted every guest to enjoy dinner while looking out towards the sea. To bring that vision to life, we built a platform across the resort's swimming pool, allowing the dining setting to gently extend over the water. Ahead stretched the open horizon; behind sat the people they loved most. To complete the experience, we positioned a silver metallic frame facing the ocean, quietly framing the coastline so that every seat looked towards a living picture of Nha Trang, constantly changing with the light, the waves, and the evening sky.

First look

Before stepping into the celebration, they reached for a bottle of fragrance named “Nha Trang” and made it part of the moment. It was a scent neither of them had worn before. Maybe that was the point, to let this day belong to a smell all of its own.

Perhaps years from now, all it will take is that familiar note in the air to bring them back here again: to the sea, the excitement, and the feeling of becoming husband and wife in Nha Trang.

As night settled over the coast, the celebration gradually found a new rhythm. Thảo’s close friends surprised her with a performance that quietly brought everyone back to another version of themselves, younger years, familiar memories, and moments only old friends understand. Between laughter and a few teary smiles, the evening felt less like a wedding reception and more like being surrounded by people who had been part of the story all along.
