PRE-WEDDING SKINCARE TIPS

Sebum excretion proceeds through the night, so you should prime your skin by cleansing it for your morning skincare routine. Moreover, the nutrition of the skin's product will absorb effectively when your skin is cleaned. And do not forget to apply sunscreen with at least 30 SPF before going outside.

Exfoliate your skin once every 3 days or at least once a week; and use facial masks for a better result. We recommend doing it at least once a week after exfoliating your skin.

SHOULD I USE RETINOL A MONTH BEFORE THE WEDDING DATE?

If you are using Retinol, try to keep on with the exact same amount of product. Since each type of skin needs a different amount of Retinol, you should follow your doctor’s instructions if you are new to it. One more important thing, try to stay away from sunlight since Retinol makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays.

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE BEFORE THE WEDDING DATE SHOULD I DO FACIAL TREATMENT?

You should start the facial treatment 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding date because skin treatment requires time to be completely effective. On the other hand, if you have a breakout that was caused from the product, you still have enough time for it to recover.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT MAKEUP STYLE?

The bridal makeup look depends on many things, the type of face, the wedding dress, the mood and tone of the celebration. Although the natural makeup style is popular, some brides will prefer a glam makeup look.

To ensure you choose the right makeup look, have a consultation with your makeup artist and set up an appointment for the makeup trial. And don't forget to bring your wedding dress. It will make the trial go smoothly.

WHAT ARE THE BEST FRUITS FOR A HEALTHY SKIN?

Banana, avocado, apple, etc. are fruits that are rich in vitamins and high in antioxidants. Besides, vegetables like tomato, broccoli, kale and nuts also boost your skin's appearance and give it a glowy look. And drink plenty of water for a youthful, plump, and clear skin.

WHAT ARE THE FOODS THAT ARE BAD FOR YOUR SKIN?

Avoid foods that are high in saturated fats, foods that contain oil such as fried foods, or food with a high amount of sugar. Furthermore, alcohol and tobacco can cause bad effects for your skin as well.

Milk and yogurt are good foods for the skin. However, cheeses, ice cream, milk scum, and caramel should be limited because they contain a high amount of progesterone and steroids, which could possibly increase overactive fat glands and cause acne.

SHOULD I WASH MY HAIR A DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING?

Always wash your hair the night before the wedding. However, for some certain hairstyles, slightly dirty hair does give a great texture to make it easier to style. So, talk to your hairstylist before the wedding to clarify this manner.

Try not to use too much conditioner, or skip it if your hair is not too dry. Likewise, if you have oily hair, avoid using conditioner for the heavy and greasy look it would give your hair. Keep in mind that some conditioners can ruin the hair texture, making it difficult to style your hair.

SHOULD I DETOX MY HAIR?

Hair detoxing allows you to get rid of all excess minerals that block the pores on your scalp. You can also find good hair detox products on the market or just simply do it at home with apple cider vinegar.

SIMPLE HAIR DETOX RECIPE

What you need: 60ml of apple cider vinegar and 480ml of water. How to do it: Step 1: Wash and condition your hair as usual Step 2: Mix apple cider vinegar with water. Step 3: Gently rub the mixture on your hair and leave it for 3 to 5 minutes Step 4: Rinse again with water.

Apple cider vinegar will deep clean your hair without stripping its natural oils. For apple cider vinegar to work most effectively, use along with a shampoo product that contains natural ingredients and is sulfate-free.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I CUT MY HAIR BEFORE THE WEDDING?

If you want to trim your hair, do it at least a week before your wedding. On the other hand, to change your hairstyle, you should do it at least 2-4 weeks before the wedding date.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT WEDDING HAIRSTYLE?

With so many gorgeous hairstyle options, it can be hard to choose just one. Choosing the right hairstyle depends on many factors, your face type, type of your hair, or the vibe of the celebration. Meet with your hairstylist to get a trial of the wedding hairstyle to ensure it fits your wedding gown and your makeup look.
