Testimonial
From feeding me little bites of food during cocktail hour, giving me a sip of water without asking, and coordinating everything we discussed to a tee, there was nothing left for me to do but enjoy myself.

I can't stress how incredible the Meraki team were in the lead up and during our wedding at An Lam retreat (HCMC). We are based in the US and communicated with Han, Van, Chi, and Trang via video calls, whatsapp, and emails. We never met them in person or visited our venue until we flew to Vietnam the week before the wedding! They did absolutely everything to perfection: 1. they had a very organized master spreadsheet listing everything we needed 2. they responded to every whatsapp messages within 12 hours 3. they...

What we loved

Family has always been at the heart of Stuart and Bianca’s relationship, and perhaps that is why every moment of their wedding carried a sense of familiarity that is difficult to put into words. It could be seen in the way Bianca’s sisters were always by her side, in the care both families showed one another, and in the many small gestures that often go unnoticed but mean the most.

Stuart and Bianca envisioned a celebration that felt elegant yet relaxed, where guests could simply enjoy the atmosphere, the conversations, and the company of the people around them. That sense of ease carried through the entire day. Nothing felt rushed or overly orchestrated; each moment unfolded naturally, allowing everyone to be fully present with one another.

The Celebration

As the afternoon sun settled gently across the gardens of An Lâm, loved ones gathered to witness the next chapter of Stuart and Bianca’s story.

Bianca’s entrance arrived quietly, carried by a song written and performed by one of her closest friends, a surprise she had kept until the wedding day. Beneath the golden afternoon light, she walked towards Stuart with a smile that seemed to soften the entire space.

A Local Touch

The cocktail hour became an opportunity to celebrate Vietnamese culinary traditions. A selection of beloved local specialties, including bánh bèo, bánh khọt, bánh bột lọc, and bánh mì, was thoughtfully prepared for guests. More than simply refreshments, these dishes reflected Bianca’s pride in sharing the flavours and culture of her homeland with family and friends who had travelled from around the world.

Material

Light played a defining role in shaping the atmosphere of Stuart and Bianca’s wedding.

One element Stuart felt strongly about was the presence of warm, golden light throughout the celebration. Rather than relying on dramatic statements, the design focused on creating a sense of intimacy, allowing every space to feel inviting, elegant, and effortlessly welcoming.

For the reception, the floral palette evolved with the introduction of ranunculus, adding a richer and more expressive layer to the design. Metallic details appeared through candle holders and decorative accents, bringing depth and texture to the tablescape.

As daylight gradually gave way to evening, the celebration took on a different rhythm. Guests gathered around the Martini Station and Champagne Tower, details that reflected Stuart’s appreciation for fine spirits and thoughtful hosting. Conversations flowed easily between family and friends from different parts of the world, turning the reception into something that felt less like a formal event and more like a long-awaited gathering, warm, familiar, and filled with the feeling of coming home.
