We used Tu and Xuan for our wedding in Saigon in November 2018. From the start Xuan and Tu were extremely responsive to us. We are not located in Vietnam and we could not have had a wedding in Saigon without their hard work. They went the extra mile to secure a venue that we had never even seen in person before and they patiently worked with us through emails for 7 months. We are so happy to have chosen Xuan and Tu to bring our vision to light - they went the extra mile every step of the way. To us they are family...
Mai & Chris are a special couple, not only because they live half a world away from us, but because their wedding unfolded on a day few would ever forget. It was the day Storm No. 9, Usagi, reached Saigon. Faced with unpredictable weather, we reworked the program and activated every contingency plan we had prepared. Thankfully, the celebration still came together with warmth and grace.
To mark this extraordinary moment, Mai & Chris invited their family and friends to do something wonderfully spontaneous. They danced together beneath the relentless rain. It was joyful, unguarded, and unforgettable. An experience none of us had ever lived through before, and one that will remain etched in our memories for a long time.
Mai and Chris chose the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts as the setting for their wedding, drawn to its architecture that harmoniously blends Eastern and Western artistic influences through Art Deco details. Just moments before the ceremony was due to begin, the bride and our team made a bold decision. Instead of holding the ceremony inside the gallery corridor that had been carefully prepared, we moved it to a small outdoor courtyard. It proved to be exactly the right choice. The rain softened into a gentle drizzle, then stopped completely as the ceremony began.
Rather than hosting the evening reception outdoors as originally planned, we successfully worked with the museum’s board and resident artists to relocate the dinner into a neighboring exhibition hall. There, guests enjoyed a warm and intimate celebration surrounded by paintings and sculptures. Since the space functions purely as an art gallery, every element of the wedding was thoughtfully brought in from outside. From decor and cuisine to lighting, sound, and even the bar, everything was carefully arranged to transform the room into a welcoming celebration space.
Mai & Chris’s guests were treated to an experience that felt both unexpected and deeply special. A wedding shaped by adaptability, creativity, and a shared willingness to embrace the moment. Proof that even in the midst of a storm, beauty has a way of finding its place.
