What moved us most about Jamie & Jeremy’s wedding was the way it brought cultures together with such ease and generosity. With guests arriving from many different parts of the world, their celebration became a thoughtful composition of music, cuisine, performances, and space — a true reflection of who they are. Both Jamie and Jeremy are open-hearted and drawn to classical beauty, so the decision to host their wedding ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts felt instinctive. The setting allowed their personalities to unfold naturally, transforming scattered early ideas into a ceremony that left guests quietly awed as they shared in this meaningful day.
Jamie & Jeremy chose to express their roots through two distinctly different atmospheres. The vow ceremony, bathed in soft, light tones, carried a European sensibility — a nod to the place where they studied, grew, and fell in love.
As evening arrived, the celebration shifted into a richly layered Chinese-inspired reception, dressed in deep crimson hues. This colour, symbolic of joy and heritage, honoured Jamie’s homeland and the place where the couple now build their life together.
Their attire told this story just as eloquently. Jamie’s elegant fishtail gown moved gently with her, highlighting her natural grace. That softness made their first look especially touching — Jamie walking toward Jeremy to the sound of an intimate acoustic guitar, a moment that felt entirely their own.
For the evening, the couple chose to wear traditional garments from each other’s cultures: Jamie in an intricately embroidered red khoả, and Jeremy in a Vietnamese áo dài with khăn đóng. It was a quiet, beautiful gesture of mutual respect and admiration.
This contrast — between spaces, styles, and traditions — became a source of delight for guests as they stepped from one world into another.
For us, weaving multiple cultures into a single wedding is both a challenge and a privilege. To ensure that every guest felt included, all vows, speeches, and family messages were carefully translated into three languages: English, Chinese, and Vietnamese. Communication, after all, is one of the purest forms of care.
Beyond visual storytelling, Jamie & Jeremy’s wedding engaged the senses in thoughtful ways. The sound of Vietnamese traditional instruments, the rhythmic drums announcing the lion dance as the couple entered the reception, and the refined Western cuisine meticulously prepared by the Park Hyatt Hotel all came together to create a layered, immersive experience.
Above all, this wedding will always remain in our hearts as a portrait of harmony — of love shaped by understanding, and of deep respect for culture and origin. Jamie & Jeremy reminded us that when differences are embraced with sincerity, they do not divide; they enrich, elevate, and endure.
