What we loved

We were immediately struck by how naturally Ivy connects with people. Warm, attentive, and an excellent listener, she has a gift for making others feel comfortable within moments of meeting them. Over time, that openness fostered genuine relationships with many of the people involved in the wedding, turning what began as a planning process into something that felt much more personal.

The ceremony embraced the quiet beauty of the garden itself. Set beneath a towering tree at the heart of the courtyard, the space felt intimate and almost untouched, as though it had been waiting there long before the wedding day arrived.

Ivy has always been fascinated by the idea that some connections are written long before they reveal themselves. This belief inspired Invisible String of Fate, a concept reflected through delicate red threads woven across the dinner tables, inspired by the legend of the red string of fate.

Celebration

As guests gathered for cocktail hour, they were invited to explore tarot readings, while fortune cookies filled with handwritten messages from Ivy later found their way to each table. Rather than predicting the future, these thoughtful details were designed to spark reflection, conversation, and a deeper sense of connection among everyone present.

Later in the evening, the gentle sound of the đàn tranh filled the dinner reception with a distinctly Vietnamese spirit. Woven seamlessly into the candlelit atmosphere and contemporary live music, the performance created a beautiful dialogue between tradition and modernity, becoming one of the celebration's most memorable moments.

In the end, the red thread became something much larger than a symbol of Ivy and Nam's love story. It quietly wove its way through every conversation, every shared laugh, every heartfelt embrace, reminding everyone that the most meaningful connections are often the ones we never see. For just one evening, fifty people from different walks of life found themselves tied together by a single story.
