What we loved most about Cam and Tony’s celebration was the sense of family woven through every part of the weekend. Their love story has never been quite conventional, they met at very different stages of life, brought two families together, welcomed four children, and first made their marriage official through an intimate elopement in Las Vegas during COVID. Five years later, they chose to celebrate once again, this time bringing their children, family, and closest friends together in Vietnam, a country they both love. More than a destination wedding, the celebration became a way of sharing the place with the people who mattered most to them and creating a new chapter together as a family.
Rather than creating a gallery solely around the bride and groom, Cam wanted to honour the love stories that had come before theirs. Wedding photographs of family and friends were displayed throughout the space, turning the gallery into a collection of memories and relationships that had shaped their own journey. This personal approach continued into the florals, where Cam’s love for flowers was expressed through abundant, colourful arrangements that reflected her warm and optimistic personality.
The couple also wanted the wedding to feel like an invitation to experience Vietnam together. Inspired by the idea of a shared journey, their stationery took the form of a wedding passport, welcoming guests into the country they had chosen as the setting for this new chapter. The details were intentionally personal, including ELLE, a playful reference to both their youngest daughter and the iconic magazine.
Some of the most meaningful moments happened quietly before the celebration began. A mother getting ready with her daughter, a father with his son, and a grandmother fastening a bracelet around her grandchild’s wrist captured the closeness between generations. The children were also dressed in miniature versions inspired by their parents’ outfits, making the getting-ready moments feel like a reflection of the family itself rather than simply preparations for a wedding.
During the unity ceremony, each of the children lit a small candle before Cam and Tony lit a larger one together. Simple and intimate, the ritual represented more than the union of two people — it reflected the family they had built, with each individual becoming part of something shared.
The evening was designed with everyone in mind, including the youngest members of the family. Alongside the main dinner tables, a little table was prepared especially for the children, complete with a playful Labubu activity. Later, heartfelt speeches brought decades of friendships and memories into the room, including stories from friends who had known the couple since childhood. As the evening unfolded, the celebration felt less like a formal wedding reception and more like a gathering of people who had grown alongside Cam and Tony.
Looking back, perhaps that is what made the celebration feel most like them. Their story began unexpectedly, grew into a family of six, and eventually brought everyone together in Vietnam. A little unconventional, a little crazy, but perfectly theirs.
