what we love

In mid-May, when Da Lat was cool, Meraki had a chance to write a new love chapter for Han and Hoang. Someone once said “To have perfection, you must accept its burden”. A wedding, in our opinion, must be of high standard, but it is also an opportunity to have fun. So when the bride inquires about a champagne shelf at the wedding or the idea of moving in a classic car, we believe that perfection and happiness can go hand in hand. Every one-of-a-kind idea, every gleaming detail is a priceless little memory to etch. We are delighted that Han and Hoang's wedding day is full of "little by little."

Decoration

Ceremony space
The outdoor wedding ceremony was held against a backdrop of lush foliage and the cool, muggy Da Lat air. Following the Chinoiserie style, decorative flowers are used with delicate and opulent hues, flecked with blue porcelain enamel, blending nostalgic elements of Asian culture and contemporary patterns together.

Reception dinner space
The party space becomes warmer with candlelight, keeping the Chinoiserie style with elegant white - blue colors running from tablecloths to decorative flowers. The fairy light string creates a glistening and romantic atmosphere. From afar, the stage appears to be a starry sky, with the couple as the brightest stars.

Getting ready

The wedding of Han and Hoang is one of the weddings with the largest team of bridesmaids and groomsmen Meraki has ever known. The couple chose to break with the tradition that the groomsmen must be male or the bridesmaids are female as it is more important to have their closest friends with them on the wedding day. On the occasion of their respective great and happy times, Han and Hoang wish "the whole team goes in". That longing was granted and Meraki was astounded by the bride and groom's enthusiastic support from friends on both sides.

The celebration

The ceremony
It rained gently and the temperature was chilly in Da Lat, but we didn't mind much because our bride and groom were full of a wonderful love in front of us. Is it just that the wedding soundtrack is too appropriate for the weather and the occasion, making us feel as if we're in a movie scenario, a fairy tale in real life?

Reception
If the wedding ceremony is a precious time of connection, then the celebration that follows is made up of smiles, wishes, and buzzing stories. However, Meraki stated that pleasure is more than simply a shower that comes and goes swiftly; we chose to conclude the celebration in a different way. The melancholy and romantic atmosphere gradually filled the area after the couple's first dance to the track "Happiness is a butterfly." The words did not originally portray an entire happy narrative, but that day, each beautiful phrase was like a dream come true: “Every day is a lullaby” [...] “I just wanna dance with you”

After party
Coming to Dalat, even for a wedding, means having to eat bánh tráng nướng. Meraki realizes the popular yet aromatic bánh tráng nướng having a "scent of Da Lat" with a rice paper cart that draws guests in. Crispy cake reminiscent of joy is the distinct aftertaste of a good day. If someone asks: "What to eat at the wedding?", "bánh tráng nướng" will surely be an interesting answer.
